CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A vehicle fire along the northbound side of Interstate 15 at the end of the Highway 138 offramp Sunday afternoon.
The vehicle fire was reported just after 1:30pm on Sunday, June 15, 2025. The burning vehicle was partially blocking the turning lane into Hwy 138 and drew a response from multiple agencies.
Caller reported smoke coming from a burgundy Jeep Wrangler stopped on the right-hand shoulder of the offramp. Within minutes, the vehicle was described as fully engulfed in flames.
Fortunately, all occupants had exited the vehicle safely before the fire intensified.
No injuries have been reported.
