BAKER, CA. (Pain in the Pass) >> Four people were seriously injured when there vehicle rolled over on Interstate 15 between Halloran Spring and Baker Monday morning.

The roll-over crash was reported at 9:22am, on Monday April 20, 2020, on southbound I-15 with debris and the victims laying on the freeway.

California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a car rolled over several times, and ejecting the four people from inside the vehicle.

Firefighters called for a total of four medical helicopters to land at the crash scene on the Interstate. All victims were reportedly to have life-threatening injuries.

From the California Highway Patrol Traffic Logs, reportedly the vehicle involved was a maroon or a brown Hyundai was possibly traveling on the southbound with people ejected onto the northbound and southbound sides of the Interstate.

CHP had to shut down the I-15 freeway in both directions as the four helicopters landed on the Interstate to transport to a local trauma centers.

CHP open up lanes in both directions at 11:30am.

Neither driver nor passengers were wearing their seat belts.

This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Barstow Office. Anyone with information regarding the incident is asked to call 760-255-5900.
