FONTANA CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A overturned SUV on Interstate 15 causing a traffic delay this evening.
This single vehicle accident was reported at 7:13pm on July 23, 2020. The vehicle was on the northbound lane on Interstate 15 about one mile after Sierra Ave. exit.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the incident and reported only minor injuries to the driver.
The vehicle involved was a Chevrolet Suburban with heavy side damage.
The accident caused the fast lane to be temporarily blocked as they worked to remove the vehicle from the freeway.
From the CHP traffic log it was reported the driver lost control and rolled over on it’s side. The driver may have been speeding prior to the crash from reports.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
