HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A fire that broke out in Hesperia destroyed over 100 bales of hay Saturday morning.
On May 29, 2021, about 5:45am San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the fire with multiple engines, hand crews, and two dozer, to a vegetation fire next to the Arco gas station off of Highway 395 and Three Flags Court. The fire was located on Caliente Road between Joshua Street and Muscatel Street near Highway 395.
Firefighters were quickly on scene due to the fire station down the street. The cause of the fire is not known at this time. Fire crews will be on scene all morning and afternoon to create a barrier between the burned and unburned hay/brush and to make sure all embers and hot spots are completely out if the winds pickup this afternoon.
