DEVORE, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist was killed when the rider hit a other rider then hit by a passing vehicle on Interstate 215 Saturday night.
California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to a person laying down on southbound Interstate 215 under a bridge from reports for the CHP traffic log. The incident was reported about 10:09pm Saturday, June 5, 2021 on southbound 215 freeway before Devore Road exit. A Sig Alert was issued for southbound 215 traffic was diverted to southbound 15 due the investigation.
For reasons still under investigation, the motorcyclist hit other motorcyclist sending the rider off the bike laying in traffic lanes. Seconds later the rider was struck by a passing vehicle. Shortly after they pronounced the rider deceased at the scene. The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
