HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pregnant woman and another person was hospitalized after California Highway Patrol say she was rear ended getting on the freeway.
CHP and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the overturned crash. There were reported to be 3 vehicles involved in the rollover crash. A blue Chevrolet Tahoe SUV on its side, a sliver Toyota Camry, and a white van. The crash happened at about 12:07pm Monday July 19, 2021, on southbound Interstate 15 at the Highway 395 onramp.
Stated on the CHP traffic log, the pregnant lady was rear-ended while entering the freeway. CHP had the fast lane and the #2 lane temporarily blocked for over an hour causing a major traffic backup Monday afternoon. From reports, two people were transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital unknown condition.
This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Victorville Office.
