SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on a $4.2 million resurfacing project on Interstate 15 (I-15) and Interstate 215 (I-215). The project spans from Ontario at Jurupa Street to the Hesperia Oak Hill Road overcrossing on the I-15, and on the I-215 in San Bernardino from University Parkway to Palm Avenue. The project features bridge deck resurfacing and joint seal replacement at various locations. The contractor will perform bridge deck work on the I-215 between Palm Avenue and University Parkway. The following lanes will be closed for work. Weather permitting.
- Friday, August 20, 10pm to 7am Saturday morning northbound and southbound lane #1 will be closed.
- Monday, August 23 through Friday, August 27, 10pm to 7am nightly. Northbound and southbound lane #1 will be closed. On and off ramps may be subject to closure.
Watch for signage and speed limits for upcoming construction zone. Please remember to reduce your speed. The project is expected to be complete in late December 2021. Schedules can change due to inclement weather.
