HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will continue work on a $122 million project to rehabilitate and repave 59 miles of traffic lanes and ramps and upgrade the drainage systems on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County.
This week will span from Oak Hill Road in Hesperia to just south of Bear Valley Road in Victorville. The project is scheduled to begin Monday. The contractor, Sully Miller Contracting Company from Brea, CA will begin grinding, paving operations and drainage work each night below.
Northbound I-15 lane closures*: Monday night January 31 to Friday night February 4, between the hours of 9pm and 7am. From or between Oak Hill Road to Bear Valley Rd. Time for Friday night into Saturday morning will be extended to 9am.
Southbound I-15 lane closures*: Monday night January 31 Friday night February 4, between the hours of 9pm and 5am. From or between Bear Valley Rd. to Oak Hills Rd. Time for Friday night into Saturday morning will be extended to 9am.
This week they are paving/pot hole repairs and installing temporary k-rails for the shoulder/center divider.
*Times can subject to change and could go longer than planned. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.
