FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Drivers coming down the Cajon Pass got a dazzling surprise when they spotted a driver speeding along on southbound Interstate 15 on just one metal rim and three tires.
A driver was heading on southbound I-15, on Saturday July 23 just before 5am, when he noticed sparks flying from beneath the truck in front of him. Seen on a video below, which was posted on the Pain In The Pass Facebook Group. Member John Jay said the driver of the white Toyota Tundra truck blew a left front tire around the 15/215 interchange. The driver drove about two miles on the rim with sparks flying.
In a video, which was posted on the Pain In The Pass Facebook Group by ‘Paulina,’ they seen the truck in front of them quickly approaching the sparking truck, is when the passenger recorded the pickup truck sparking down the freeway.
The video ends with the truck getting off at Sierra Avenue exit. Good news no fires were reported after the amount of sparks that came flying from underneath the truck.
