SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A pedestrian died after being hit by a car on Sunday morning on northbound Interstate 215, California Highway Patrol said.
The crash was reported about 3:57am. on October 30, 2022, according to the California Highway Patrol. The incident happened on northbound I-215 before Baseline Street in San Bernardino. When CHP officers arrived, they found the crash involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity hasn’t been released at this time.
The driver that hit the pedestrian reportedly did stay at the scene and was cooperating with the investigation, and there are no charges set to be placed at this time. This incident is currently under investigation by the California Highway Patrol San Bernardino Inland Office. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
