LUCERNE VALLEY, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >>A fire you could see smoke for miles in the Victor Valley was at the Moss Mobile Manor & RV Park in Lucerne Valley Sunday afternoon left at least four residents displaced, according to the San Bernardino Fire Department.
Firefighters responded at about 1:57pm Sunday February 19, 2023, to a reported of a fire at one of the trailers at 38338 Old Woman Springs Road (Highway 247) Moss Mobile Manor & RV Park mobile home community with about 100 spaces.
Arriving firefighters were met with at least two trailers on fire. With multiple fire units from Apple Valley and Victorville Fire Departments responded to the fire and crews were able to eventually brought under control in 3 hours.
One nearby neighbor said 3 trailers were not occupied in at the time of the fire. Only one trailer was occupied and was heavily damaged. A total of four trailers were damaged or destroyed.
Authorities reported that no one was injured in the fire, which also prompted a response from Edison and the American Red Cross.
So far there are no further details of the fire and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
