SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A driver and passenger are in custody after a 27 mile high speed pursuit that ended in a crash into a building off of Interstate 215 in the Devore area.

Officials of the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department confirmed the pursuit started around 1am Tuesday February 21, 2023. It started at Nisqualli Road and Mariposa Road in Victorville, a white BMW that was stolen. The vehicle failed to yield, and a pursuit resulted.

The chase then continued into southbound I-15 at speeds around 100+ mph down the Cajon Pass and made there way to southbound I-215 in Devore at a high rate of speed.

Somehow the suspect lost control of the vehicle and crashed through the chain-link fence on the right shoulder of the freeway. The suspect became airborne and landed on top of a building after the Devore Road exit.

After a short foot pursuit, both suspects were taken into custody with minor injuries. The driver was identified as Floyd Walker 20-years-old, resident of Barstow, and the passenger was identified as Kalvin Streeter 20-years-old, resident of Adelanto. Streeter and Walker were both arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center. Deputies searched the vehicle and they located two ghost guns.

Both suspects were booked for carrying a loaded firearm/not the owner, possession of a stolen vehicle, and vehicle theft. Walker was also booked on felony evading and remains in custody on $100,000 bail. Streeter was also booked for murder and remains in custody on a combined bail of $530,000.
