HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will closed a lane in both directions due to weather on Interstate 15 in Hesperia.
Northbound & Southbound I-15 from Oak Hill Road to Bear Valley Road in both directions. The fast lane and the #2 lane will be closed. Only two lanes will be open until Monday afternoon/evening* due to a chance of heavy rain showers.
The main reason of the closure is for safety. Drivers will hydroplane and crash due to flooding in these lanes.
Expect delays in this area due to ONLY two lanes will be open.
