CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting the public that construction contractors will perform night work on Interstate 15 in Fontana up in the Cajon Pass. Weather permitting.

Nighttime work will occur Monday, September 11 through Saturday morning September 16, from 7pm to 5am* Work performed will include Northbound and Southbound Unsound Checking at various locations, including truck bypass locations. On Interstate 15 the Closures will vary from 1 lane to 3 lanes during the night. Please note, various lane and connector closures will occur in the project zone. Work performed will include deck rehabilitation, polyester concrete overlay, methacrylate, replace bridge rail, replace joint seals, approach slabs, repair soffit.
All work is dependent on contractor receiving proper materials for each job function. It can be changed or canceled at any time. The following are planned work and closure locations:

    Alternating Lane Reductions & Lane Closures
  • Interstate-15 from Cleghorn Rd to Kenwood Ave. Northbound & Southbound
    Alternating Lane Reduction & Lane Closures.
  • Interstate 215 North-Bound-Truck Bypass Full Closure.
  • Interstate-15 from Kenwood Ave. to Hwy 138 Northbound & Southbound
    Alternating Lane Reduction & Lane Closures
  • Interstate-15 South-Bound. to SR 138 Eastbound & Westbound Full Ramp Closure.
  • Interstate-15 Northbound to Hwy 138 Northbound Full Ramp Closure.
  • Hwy 138 Eastbound & Westbound Alternating Lane Reduction & Lane Closures. From I-15 to Hwy 173.
  • Beech/Summit Avenue Eastbound & Westbound Alternating Lane Reduction & Lane Closures.
  • Connector Closures
    SB 15 to EB 210-Connector Closure.
    SB 15 to WB 210-Connector Closure.
    EB 210 to NB 15- Connector Closure.
    WB 210 to NB 15-Connector Closure.
    SB 15 to WB 210-Connector Closure.

*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.

Roadwork will not be in the same spot each day.
