CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters quickly control a very small brush fire that broke out in next to Interstate 15 Sunday morning.
The fire was reported at about 12:27am Sunday, September 17, 2023. The location of the fire was on northbound I-15 on the Cleghorn Road onramp. San Bernardino County Fire Department and San Bernardino National Forest firefighters were quickly on scene. The cool weather help the fire to not spread fast and was quickly contained less than a ¼ acre burned.
The freeway was never affected by the flames or by the smoke. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
