SAN BERNARDINO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A motorcyclist is dead after crashing into a vehicle on Interstate 215 Monday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The two-vehicle crash occurred around 11:10pm on Monday October 2, 2023 before the Inland Center Drive exit on southbound I-215. California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic collision involving a unknown vehicle and a motorcycle.
CHP officials reported the motorcyclist and another vehicle collided in the fast lane due to unknown circumstances at this time.
The bike went down in the #1 lane and the rider was then thrown from the motorcycle landed onto the traffic lanes.
CHP and rescue personnel attempted life-saving measures, but the motorcyclist died from injuries sustained in the crash.
The identity of the rider is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
