HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will closed a lane in both directions due to weather on Interstate 15 in Hesperia Wednesday night.
Northbound & Southbound I-15 from Oak Hill Road to Bear Valley Road in both directions. One lane will be closed at 9pm until Thursday morning around 5am* due to rain showers and possible flooding.
The main reason of the closure is for safety. Drivers will hydroplane and crash due to flooding in the lane.
Expect delays in this area due to ONLY two lanes will be open.
*Times can subject to change and could go longer. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather.
