LLANO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A man was killed in a two-vehicle collision on the Highway 138, Pearblossom Highway early Tuesday morning near the town of Llano. (Photo above is credit by Juan Gudino).
The collision was reported at 1:05 am, November 28, 2023, on Highway 138 near 185th Street East. California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles County Fire Department found one vehicle flipped on its side and another vehicle, a silver sedan, off the highway in the bushes. They found a victim trapped in one of the vehicles and debris strewn across the highway.
First responders arrived at the scene and pronounced one of two males deceased inside their vehicle.
A rescue team worked on extrication of the other person trapped and requested a helicopter. Los Angeles County Fire helicopter 15 landed at the scene. The male adult was airlifted to Antelope Valley Medical Center in unknown condition.
The other driver’s condition was unknown.
Witness stated the driver could have been drunk.
