California Highway Patrol and firefighters from San Bernardino County Fire Department were called to the crash scene on Sunday about 8:36pm February 25, 2024. The crash scene was on northbound Interstate 15 about two miles after Highway 138 in the #4 and the slow lane.

A witnesses stated the motorcycle was traveling at high rate of speeds, estimated to be more than 100 miles per hour, and swerving in and out of traffic lanes. The rider reportedly clip a vehicle, lost control and rear-ended a Honda. The bike suddenly bursts into flames. The rider laned in the center divider was not moving but talking to the rescue personal.

The rider was transported by ground ambulance with major injures, not life threatening.

The driver of the Honda was also transported by ground ambulance as a precaution due to be pregnant.
