The roadwork include deck rehabilitation work with, polyester concrete overlay, methacrylate, replace bridge rail, replace joint seals, replace slabs, repair soffit.

As of the end of February the project is 90% completion and still on track.

Nighttime work is scheduled Monday March 25 from 9pm to 5am* Nighttime work will require intermittent closures. Daytime work is schedule from Monday, March 25 to Friday, March 29 from 7am to 3:30pm*. Daytime work will continue behind k-rail. Ensuring progress both day and night to enhance efficiency During this period, the construction crews will be working on Hwy 138 and I-15 Northbound and Southbound.
The following are planned work locations:

  • Interstate 15 Southbound to Hwy 138 Eastbound Cajon Pass On-Ramp & Off-Ramp
    Alternating Lane Reductions. Alternating Lane Closures.
  • Interstate 15 Southbound to Hwy 138 Westbound Cajon Pass On-Ramp & Off-Ramp
    Alternating Lane Reductions. Alternating Lane Closures
  • Interstate 15 Northbound – Cajon Pass Northbound Alternating Lane Reduction & Lane Closures.

*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
