HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Wind Advisory for Friday night until Sunday. A Gusty Wind Event is for the mountains, Victor/Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and the Mojave Desert locations.

A cutoff low will drop down into SoCal late Friday night into Saturday morning and on Sunday. This will bring cold temperatures and chance of rain shower for the Cajon Pass area.

Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the high desert. With winds blowing around 40-50 mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 40-50+ mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 40-50 mph winds. Mountains will have gust 40 to 50+ mph. Max wind gust will be 60 mph in spots.

Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 Barstow through Stateline NV as well as other area roadways.

The Wind Advisory should expire by Sunday night.
