HIGH DESERT, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A Wind Advisory for Friday all day. A Gusty Wind Event is for the mountains, Victor/Apple Valley, Lucerne Valley, and the Mojave Desert locations.
A little weather system going over SoCal this morning bring cool temperatures and chance of rain shower for the Cajon Pass area Inland Empire Valleys.
Southern California Weather Force Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for the high desert. With winds blowing around 50-60 mph in the Victor/Apple Valley area. Parts of the Barstow area will have 50-60+ mph winds. Lucerne Valley area will have 50-40 mph winds. Mountains will have gust 40 to 50+ mph. Max wind gust will be 70 mph in spots.
Potential for hazardous crosswinds and blowing dust on Interstate 15 from Barstow through Stateline NV as well as other area roadways.
The Wind Advisory should expire by Friday night.
