CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A two vehicle accident on the southbound Interstate 15 after the Main Street exit caused traffic Wednesday night. (Photo above is credit by Deric Davidson)
The two-vehicle accident was reported at 7:13pm on June 5, 2024. The location of the crash was on southbound I-15 just after the Main St. onramp. The two vehicles were involved were a black semi tractor trailer and a dark gray Toyota mini-van.
The van and the semi made contact and this cause the van to lose control hitting the Krail, then became high centered on the center divider Krail. Two people were able to get out of the van.
Officers said the semi had damage to one on the fuel tanks but was empty.
The van had damage to the front and became disable on the Krail blocking the fast lane for about an hour. The traffic backed up quickly at one point was backup before Bear Valley Road.
There were no injuries reported in the crash
