HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Highway Patrol on Tuesday morning investigation a crash between a sedan and a semi tractor trailer at the top of the Cajon Pass. (Photo above is credit by Jocelyn Rios)
The collision happened after the Oak Hill Road exit on northbound Interstate 15 about 6:44am on July 9, 2024 during the morning rush hour.
The vehicles involved were a white Toyota Carmy sedan and a white semi tractor trailer. It was reported the Toyota and the semi colliding with the trailer’s rear tandem axle. The contact causes the Toyota to rollover and land upside down blocking the two right lanes.
The driver of the sedan reportedly only had minor injuries.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Victorville Office.
