BAKER, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A single-vehicle rollover crash killed a driver on Interstate 15 Wednesday morning near the Zzyzx Road exit.
The crash happened at about 6:06am Wednesday July 24, 2024. The location was on southbound Interstate 15 about two miles after the Zzyzx Road exit. California Highway Patrol, and San Bernardino County Fire Department responded to the traffic crash involving a grey Mercedes sedan.
Firefighters located the Mercedes that went off the freeway into a ditch and overturned on its roof. The driver was trapped inside. Firefighters rendered aid to the driver. Sadly, the driver succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.
The identity of the driver is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
