HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Commuters will notice slowdowns and road closures from
September 16 to September 20, 2024 on Highway 395 as crews continue to work on pavement upgrades, install changeable message signs, and upgrade facilities to meet American with Disabilities Act (ADA) standards, in the cities of Hesperia, Victorville, and Adelanto.

This $43 Million Roadway Improvement Project is funded through Senate Bill (SB) 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017, and will refurbish the existing roads, enhance safety, and accessibility.
Day and night work continues, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. and night work will run between 10 pm. to 6 am In Adelanto (near Air Expressway), expect nighttime lane closures with reverse traffic control along US 395 at various areas on the route that may also require alternating lane closures.
The NB I-15 to NB US 395 connector will be closed, Monday to Friday, September 16th to the 20th, between the hours of 10pm. to 6am** Detour available for this closure is NB I-15 to WB on Main St. to Hwy 395.

A pilot car will escort motorists through the construction zone areas. Commuters should expect potential traffic delays with reverse lane and shoulder closures, alternating between both northbound and southbound directions.

This project is anticipated to be completed in December 2024.
Road users are reminded to reduce speed in and around the work zone and be advised that weather and/or other factors may affect the construction schedule
