HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will closed a small section on northbound Interstate 15 due to wet weather in Hesperia on Sunday through Monday.
Northbound I-15 from Ranchero Road to Joshua Street. Two lanes will be closed due to flooding, so this means one lane will be open until Monday* due to heavy rain showers are in the forecast and possible of flooding in the construction area.
The main reason of the closure is for safety. Drivers will hydroplane and crash due to the flooding in the traffic lanes.
Expect delays in this area due to ONLY one lane will be open.
*If the storm passes earlier, they will reopen all lanes.
Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
