CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> An arson suspect was taken into custody after a small brush fire was set below Interstate 15 on Wednesday, officials said.
The fire started around 6pm April 23, 2025, near southbound I-15 freeway Cleghorn Road exit, the San Bernardino National Forest Fire Department said. The blaze was extinguished less than 30 minutes and no structures were damaged or destroyed.
California Highway Patrol said, the suspect was taken into custody near the scene and admitted to start the fire.
No other details were released at this time.
