FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Luis A. Minero, 28-year-old motorcyclist from Adelanto was killed in a crash on northbound Interstate 15, according to the San Bernardino County Coroner’s office
The crash happened about 6:51pm on September 9, 2025, along the northbound side of the 15 Freeway, just after the Sierra Avenue exit.
Minero was traveling in the #2 lane on his Honda Fireblade sport bike motorcycle at an unknown speed just prior to the wreck, CHP officials said in a written statement.
Exactly what led up to the crash is unclear, the rider of the Honda motorcycle lost control of his motorcycle and was ejected from the bike into the #1 lane of 15 freeway.
A driver of a GMC pickup truck instantly hit Minero in the fast lane, the CHP statement said.
San Bernardino County Fire pronounced Minero was deceased at the scene.
The incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office. CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
