CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Roadwork in portions of the Cajon Pass caused traffic delays for drivers Tuesday afternoon.
Caltrans perform guardrail repair on southbound Interstate 15 about a mile after the Oak Hill Road exit. The guardrail that was repaired was in the center divider. The left lane was closed for over three hours during the repair of about 100 feet of guardrail.
All lanes of southbound I-15 are back open Tuesday afternoon after crews made repairs.
Traffic was backup at one point over 7 miles long, all the way before the Bear Valley Road exit. Also, all side streets like Amargosa and Mariposa Roads were backup.
