PHELAN, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Highway 138 has now reopened on Phelan and Hesperia side of the highway from the Christmas Eve winter storm.
The full closure was between the Interstate 15 at Cajon Junction/Hwy 138 exit and Beekley Road (Phelan Side). Caltrans said, a good size part of the roadway had collapse with multiple power poles leaning.
Caltrans set up a cone pattern with one lane open in both directions of the collapse highway.
(Hesperia Side) of Hwy 138 was reopen on Sunday morning.
Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
Highway could be closed again due to inclement weather.
