FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Part of a modular home has been blown over due to high winds on Interstate 15 in Fontana Saturday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
High winds reaching around 60+ mph in the area, caused the modular home to rolled over on its side around 4pm on January 10, 2026. The incident happened on northbound I-15 just after Duncan Canyon Road onramp.
Crews worked on removing the modular home from the slow lane. A heavy-duty tow truck was able to move the semi and the modular home to the right shoulder of the freeway.
Highway patrol stated recovery efforts were “difficult and dangerous” due to the high winds and waited until the gusty winds are not strong.
