ONTARIO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Crews responding to the scene of a semi-truck crashed off the freeway connector ramp to southbound Interstate 15 on a rainy Sunday morning.
The crash was reported at approximately 12:26am on October 11, 2026, California Highway Patrol officers and Ontario Fire Department firefighters responded to a traffic collision on the westbound 10 Freeway to southbound 15 Freeway connector ramp.
CHP officers arrived to find a heavily damaged semi-truck tractor without a trailer that had gone off the connector and landed on southbound 15 Freeway in a construction area below.
Despite the significant damage, the semi driver declined medical treatment and was not transported to a hospital.
It looks like the semi driver lost control in the curve on wet roadway conditions, went off to the right before hitting the guardrail/wall. The semi went off the ramp landed into a construction area below.
We will update this story with more information when the CHP’s preliminary accident report is available. Additional details were limited at this time. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Rancho Cucamonga Office.
