DEVORE, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> California Highway Patrol said a head-on crash involving a wrong-way driver on northbound I-15 between Glen Helen Parkway and Kenwood Avenue has left one person injured Wednesday morning.

At 8:55 am CHP dispatch received reports of a wrong-way driver driving south in the northbound I-15 lane near the 15/215 split. The wrong way driver was driving a gray Dodge pick-up truck he was driving in the center divider and traffic lanes.

Within minutes, the wrong-way driver force a gray sedan to spin out, then striking a silver Honda Pilot vehicle.

The driver of the Honda Pilot was transported to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center with minor injuries and is expected to be okay.

The wrong way drivers eventually stop and pulled over. CHP took the suspect into custody.  

This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland San Bernardino Office.

CHP says additional information will be updated as it becomes available.
