LYTLE CREEK, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A portion of Interstate 15 reopened in Fontana on Sunday morning after a crash next to the freeway knocked down very low power lines across the freeway.

California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino Fire Department received calls of a crash with a vehicle into a power pole and rollover. Reported on Lytle Creek Road at Glen Helen Pkwy This happened at about 4:34am Sunday morning on March 7, 2021, according to California Highway Patrol officers.

The power lines down on I-15 was the result of a crash close to the freeway. CHP had to do a traffic break about 7:30am for about 15 minutes on both sides of the 15 freeway. They pulled the wire to start replacing the power pole.

The vehicle involved and how many people were trapped upside down inside was not reported. Also no report on how many were injured at the scene.

It was unclear what caused the crash. This incident will be under investigation by the California Highway Patrol Inland Office.
