FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will be conducting road work this Saturday that will result in lane closures at various locations. Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice. All projects are weather permitting.
Moving shoulder closure and possible lane shift on northbound and southbound Interstate 15 for lane (street) sweeping. Maintenance teams will perform a sweeping & graffiti removal operations in the center median and right shoulders. A moving closure will be in effect traffic in both directions.
Caltrans will start around 5am to 2pm on I-15 from Philadelphia St. in Ontario to the 15/210 freeway interchange in Fontana.
Crew will remove small to large debris in the shoulder and painting over graffiti.
CHP will be doing traffic breaks to slow down traffic so expect about up to 15 minute delay later this morning/afternoon.
*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. On and off ramps may be subject to closure. Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
