Rainy Weather Prompt Lane Closure on I-15 in Hesperia Sunday through Tuesday Afternoon

HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will closed a lane or two in both directions due to wet weather on Interstate 15 in Hesperia on Sunday.

Northbound & Southbound I-15 from Ranchero Road to Main Street in both directions. One lane will be closed until Tuesday late afternoon* due to heavy rain showers are in the forecast and possible of flooding. Also Northbound 15 Main Street On Ramp and Off Ramp are closed due to flooding.

The main reason of the closure is for safety. Drivers will hydroplane and crash due to flooding in the traffic lane.

Expect delays in this area due to ONLY two or three lanes will be open.

*If the storm passes earlier they will reopen lanes.

Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the construction zones.
