FONTANA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Interstate 15 Corridor Freight and extend the Express Lanes is a collaborative effort by the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in coordination with the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC).
The 8-mile project is from Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road in Jurupa Valley to just north of Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga will add express lanes in the median of Interstate 15 to join the existing express lanes in Riverside County and add auxiliary lanes to improve traffic operations and safety in the vicinity of the 15 Freeway, 60 Freeway and the 10 Freeway interchanges
A full closure of eastbound and westbound Interstate 10 near Interstate 15 is scheduled for early Sunday morning, May 11, from 12am to 9am.
The San Bernardino Express Lanes on I-10 will also be closed during this time. (See map below)
