OAK HILLS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) is alerting the public that construction contractors will perform work al for the $25M Cajon Weigh Station Relocation Project.
This project is to relocate the southbound Cajon Weigh Station and Truck Safety Check Area in the Cajon Pass. The project is anticipated to be completed by Summer 2026 (weather and/or other factors may affect the construction schedule).
The following locations are scheduled to be closed for striping and guardrail upgrades.
Crews will perform work during nighttime hours from Monday, June 15 through Saturday morning, June 20, beginning at 8pm and concluding at 7am.

Closures will take place at following locations:
I-15 SOUTHBOUND – OAK HILL ROAD
Lane Closure: Lanes 2, 3 & 4 ONLY the left lane will be OPEN
• Monday, June 15 – Friday, June 19: 8PM to 5AM (nightly)
• Friday, June 19 – Saturday, June 20: 9PM to 7AM
Oak Hill Road On-Ramp to I-15 Southbound – FULL CLOSURE Monday night – Saturday Morning:
• Monday, June 15 – Friday, June 19: 7PM to 5AM (nightly)
• Friday, June 19 – Saturday, June 20: 9PM to 5AM
I-15 Southbound Off-Ramp to Oak Hill Road – FULL CLOSURE Monday night – Saturday Morning:
• Monday, June 15 – Friday, June 19: 7:01 PM to 4:59 AM (nightly)
• Friday, June 19 – Saturday, June 20: 9:01 PM to 4:59 AM
I-15 SOUTHBOUND – RANCHERO ROAD
Ranchero Road On-Ramp to I-15 Southbound – FULL CLOSURE:
• Monday, June 15 – Saturday, June 20: 7PM to 5AM (nightly)
Expect major traffic delays at night and in the morning commute. Plan ahead and allow extra travel time during these hours or take an alternative route.
