CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> A semi tractor-trailer lost control on Interstate 15, goes off the freeway crashed down the embankment in the Cajon Pass.
The crash happened around 5:20am on July 11, 2026, on southbound I-15 in the Blue Cut Area or about 2 miles before the Kenwood Avenue exit.
The semi driver hauling a set of doubles dry bulk trailers, reportedly veered off the roadway went through a guardrail and went down the embankment about 50 to 100 feet off the right side of the freeway.
The semi was the only vehicle involved stated on the CHP Traffic Log.
No major injuries have been reported at this time.
