Roadwork this Week for New Changeable Message Signs and Guardrail Work in Various Location

SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) continues work on system upgrades throughout San Bernardino County. This project will upgrade the assets of transportation management system (TMS) elements and optimize the use of changeable message signs (CMS), upgrade or install Midwest guardrail systems (MGS) and maintenance vehicle pullouts (MVP). This work is funded through Senate Bill (SB1) gas tax, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017.

The project will improve post signs along Interstate(s) 10, 15, 215 and State Route 60. CMS upgrades will occur on Interstate(s) 10, 15, 40, 215 and on State Route(s) 58, 60 and 210.

Work operations will occur day and night at various locations from Monday to

Friday. During the week of July 13, 2026, there will be alternating lane and ramp closures for both day and night work from Monday through Friday at the following locations:

Daywork between: 6am to 4pm*:

• WB SR-210: east of Baseline Rd, Upland

• NB I-15: south of Dale Evans, Apple Valley

• EB SR-210: Milliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga

• EB I-10: Mountain View Ave, Redlands

• NB I-15: south of Ranchero Rd, Oak Hills/Hesperia

Nightwork between: 8pm to 5am*:

• WB SR-210: east of Baseline Rd, Upland

• NB I-15: south of Dale Evans, Apple Valley

• EB SR-210: Milliken Ave, Rancho Cucamonga

• EB I-10: Mountain View Ave, Redland

• NB I-15: south of Ranchero Rd, Oak Hills/Hesperia

Expect a traffic backup in the area of the project.

*Times can subject to change and could go longer or start earlier. Also subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.

Please use caution and remember to reduce your speed when approaching and driving through the roadwork zones.
