CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> No injuries were reported after a car caught fire just off of Interstate 15 on the Highway 138 offramp Saturday night.
California Highway Patrol and San Bernardino County Fire said they received a call of a vehicle fire that happened on northbound Interstate 15 on the Hwy 138 offramp. The call came is at around 9:17pm on July 25, 2026.
The vehicle reported was a sliver Chevrolet Impala sedan on fire in the left hand turn lane.
Flames were coming from the engine compartment.
Everybody did escape the vehicle before catching fire.
Crews managed to control the blaze before the flames hit the nearby brush.
There has been no word on any injuries.
