HESPERIA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> New construction of a bridge over the aqueduct in the city of Hesperia is running on schedule thanks to the mild winter and a good summer.
The concrete has been poured on the bridge over the aqueduct. Soon they will start to pave up to the bridge.
These improvements will help ensure a smoother and more reliable bridge with 4 lanes across and the last part of the Ranchero Road Widening Project. Barring any unforeseen complications, the project is expected to be completed by the end of 2026*.
The total cost of the phases three project is estimated at $64.1 million, with the City of Hesperia responsible for $37 million. The county and the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority are expected to cover the remaining costs.
*Finish date may change due to weather or construction issues.
