RANCHO CUCAMONGA, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> As part of April’s Distracted Driving Awareness Month, the California Highway Patrol (CHP), California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS), and Impact Teen Drivers (ITD) are working together to increase education and enforcement efforts to raise awareness about the dangers of distracted driving.
In support of Distracted Driver Awareness month, we took decisive action with a robust Maximum Enforcement Period Special Detail on April 30th. The California Highway Patrol Inland Office, and the Rancho Cucamonga Office conducted the operation. Harnessing the collective expertise of 30 officers, 3 sergeants, 2 lieutenants, and our captain, we bolstered our resolve for safer roads.
