Firefighters make quick work of Small Brush Fire in Lytle Creek Sunday Afternoon

LYTLE CREEK, CA, (Pain In The Pass) >> Firefighters quickly control a small brush fire that broke out in the near the town of Lytle Creek Sunday afternoon.

The fire called the Meyer Fire was reported at about 1:54pm Sunday, May 19, 2024. The location of the fire was on Meyer Canyon Road near the West End Gun Club. San Bernardino County Fire Department, San Bernardino National Forest, and CAL Fire firefighters were quickly on scene.

With cool weather and light winds help the fire not to spread fast and was quickly contained, about a acre burned.

No structures were never affected by the flames. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time.
