BARSTOW, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> Drivers headed down the Cajon Pass for the morning commute were forced to endure a traffic delay because of a disabled semi tractor-trailer was hit by another semi-truck.
California Highway Patrol reported that a semi tractor-trailer was blocking middle lane on southbound Interstate 15 about a mile before the Glen Helen Parkway exit around 3:14am July 15, 2025.
A minute or two later, is when the other semi tractor-trailer rear-ended the disabled semi’s trailer.
The collision caused debris to spread across the traffic lanes.
Two right lanes were blocked for over an hour as the clean the debris and remove the semis.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
The cause of the semi becoming disabled and the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Inland Office.
