ONTARIO, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The Interstate 15 Corridor Freight and extend the Express Lanes is a collaborative effort by the San Bernardino County Transportation Authority (SBCTA) and the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) in coordination with the Riverside County Transportation Commission (RCTC) this project.
The 8-mile project from Cantu-Galleano Ranch Road in Jurupa Valley to just north of Foothill Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga will add express lanes in the median of Interstate 15 to join the existing express lanes in Riverside County and add auxiliary lanes to improve traffic operations and safety in the vicinity of the 15 Freeway, 60 Freeway and the 10 Freeway interchanges.
Attention I-15 drivers for these ramp closures that are coming soon.
The northbound I-15 Jurupa Street on-ramp is scheduled to close on Sunday, November 30 at 11:59pm through Monday, December 15 at 5am* to allow crews to realign and repave the ramp. Detour routes will be posted.
The southbound I-15 Jurupa Street on-ramp is scheduled to close Wednesday, December 3 at 11:59pm through Thursday, December 18, at 5am*.

*Times can subject to change and could go longer, start earlier, or finish early. Schedules are subject to change due to inclement weather or construction issues.
The project is expected to be complete by 2028.
