CAJON PASS, CA. (Pain In The Pass) >> The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) alerts the public that Cajon Maintenance crews will be conducting a crack sealing operation on Interstate 15 (I-15) in the Cajon Pass north of the town of Devore. If Weather permitting.
This night-time operation will be performed on Wednesday night, June 10, 2026, at 9pm and will conclude on Thursday morning, June 11th at 5pm*.
This is to safely perform the crack sealing, so crews will close the northbound #1 and #2 lanes from Kenwood Avenue exit to about 2 miles before Cleghorn Road exit.
Please reduce your speed when near work areas for the safety of crews and other drivers on the route. Signage will be placed ahead to indicate approaching roadway work.
More crack sealing work will be in the coming days.
*Lanes may open earlier or later if they have a issue. The work schedule will be subject to change due to weather or construction-related issues. Always reduce your speed through the work zone.
