SAN BERNARDINO, CA (Pain In The Pass) >> Heads up a 55-hour closure of Interstate 215 both onramps and offramp of University Parkway and a part of University Parkway this weekend. The closure is to finish the new configuration of the road.
The closure is scheduled for Friday, April 17 at 9pm to Monday, April 20 at 4am* to for paving and electrical work.

During the closure:
• University Parkway will be closed between NB and SB I-215 ramps (under the freeway)
• NB/SB on- and off-ramps at University Parkway will be closed
• Business access maintained on south University Parkway from Hallmark Parkway to the SB I-215 on- and off-ramps.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time to reach their destinations, and use alternate routes. At peak time heavy traffic on I-215 in this area.
Construction on the $25.7 million project began in November of 2024 and was funded through a combination of federal, state, and local funding, including local Measure I ($16.39 Million), federal ($5.7 Million), and City of San Bernardino ($3.6 Million) funds.
